Where the mind goes

The full moon shines on a single tree.

Cherry blossoms illuminated with heaven’s astral glow.

Amidst a swaying meadow in a soft, warm breeze.

Through which shimmering rivers flow.

The summer night dances in the wind.

Pulling flashing fireflies upstream.

To a waterfall tall and powerful.

The sound of which soothes a restless dream.

Under the star streaked sky.

And a short walk in the grass.

A small cabin lit to warm the soul.

A place for my mind to call home, home at last.
