You see the tears fill my eyes
With the grayest skies of blue.
You watch me as I fall,
Faster and faster as I descend, your words cross my mind.
Every thought
A new feeling of emotion.
I dread the fear of rejection,
The thought of another caring,
The pain of not knowing.
It makes me push you away,
Hurting you more that I am hurting.
I seem angry, and isolated,
That's me falling apart.
And the thoughts of you make the pain rage to my heart.
You're angry at me,
There's nothing I can do to change that.
I keep falling, and you keep watching.
Faster and faster I descend,
No hand to pull me back up.
