Diamonds Aren't Forever

I won't let this build up inside of me
With dull ended razors, I cannot bleed
Touch the skin to kill me within
I know the fall is what you wanted to see

Break the silence with a binding cry
What they should teach you is how to survive
Something worthwhile, now they're in denial
Speak to me anything, even a lie

Crush the flower with several pounds
Spin the barrel and choose from the rounds
Pain is tough, never strong enough
Rise from the board that forever bounds

The diamond crave taking the pain
Another dollar wasted, hoping to say:
I'm taken back, remember that
Money won't keep the hurt away

Buy me a liar, an attention whore
Brand me everything you wanted her for
I'll write this poem to never feel alone
I'll end this mess with nothing more
