Thought miles apart, you are here with me.
I close my eyes, and feel you in my arms.
Your words, like sweet honey, flow into my ears.
Distance traveled through time and space, though
neither of us has left where we are.
We lay together, feeling, loving.
Your kisses taste so sweet.
I feel your arms wrap around me, and I feel like I'm home.
Your tender embrace makes me feel safe and warm.
It's been so long since I've felt like this.
It has me feeling afraid.
But, when I'm with you, all those fears fade away.
I enter you, making passionate love.
Filling every recess of your body and soul.
I feel your heart enter me.
Filling me with your every emotion.
Thrusting and penetrating both ways.
Into you, into me.
The passion and fire bursting between us.
We reach our climax together.
We roll to the side, still holding one another.
Me, still inside you.
You, still inside me.
I look into your beautiful eyes.
I lean in and kiss you, feeling you kiss me in return.
We lay there, holding, kissing, loving each other, until we
drift off to sleep.
As we lay there dreaming, it becomes the reality of where we are.
Too far apart, yet never closer.
When next we speak, it will be the same once more.
You in my arms, but not through my door.
