Last Words

If an angel came
And called my name
Said it’s time for me to go
I leave you all with these words.
Don’t shed a tear for me
Just think I’m finely free
My time is up for me to leave
I’m sorry but I really must go
As I turn to walk away
A tear falls from my face
I love you with all my heart
I’ll miss you all so much
I’ll watch over you all
Until you come with me
All I ask is remember me
Remember me as me
Keep me in your hearts
As I’ll keep you all in mines
But don’t let it fall apart
Just like mines
Remember the good times
That we shared together
All the laughers
And the big smiles
I know this is time apart
Will make that up in awhile
Don’t try to join me
Live your life for me
I’ll look you in the eye
And tell you “Good-Bye”
Please, dot you cry
I’ll see you on the other side
When your time is up to leave
I’ll come and call your name
Like we did from the start
We’ll no longer be apart
