Dip your finger in honey
one by one
glistening buttons
slip apart
at lip's touch
tread the tender mountain path
at slope of dew fall your thumb will trace out
the shell curve of my ear
I turn my face to your
sweet-scented palm
press it to my mouth sorrow melts away
like the ink of the squid in clear water
your sweat forms a pool in my navel,
or my tear falls, turning through space
to splash
like a sigh on your skin there is no tomorrow
though dawn glows pink
there is only
flooded heartbeat confluence --
and fusion
