The Love Gun

With words I can barely describe
Tonight, I'm going to push my old feelings aside
Because my current ones are stronger than ever before
These feelings, I just can't ignore

My days are gray
Up until you say "Hey"
The sky above me starts clearing
Because of all that I'm hearing

Your voice, it calms me down
It has some sort of sweet sound
Your eyes, they make me so weak
I start melting - I can hardly speak

Your hair, once long, now cut
I don't care, you're beautiful no matter what
Your lips, they move so slowly
When you're singing softly, to me

When our eyes meet, I feel some connection
I'm almost positive, there's no rejection
I think everybody is beginning to see
It's possible, that we're meant to be

We act different together now
Like a love gun shot - "Pow!"
You hear love in our voices when we sang
Oh yes, that gun went "Bang!"
