I have to learn to hide this pain
I have to learn to live within this chain
I have to learn to bury my wishes
Within the tears, that to my eyes are embellishes.

I have to learn to accept these facts.
I have to learn that these are not just acts.
I have to learn, from you nothing to expect.
At least this point, I will never forget.

But can u tell me why you treat me this way?
For how long, the price I am going to pay?
I don’t know what’s the point of all this fray?
While I’m still on the path from which u told me not to stray.

My suffering is without commotion,
But my heart is still filled with emotion.
You pretend like in ur thoughts there's no confusion.
But I know they are only some outsider's intrusion.

I see the stars are way high above,
But I feel I can hold them close like a glove.
Though you teach me not to dream,
But I will always dream of a life that is serene.

You hope that in your captivity I will always stay,
But for a change of your heart I will always pray.
I know there will be one day that won’t be like today,
Standing among the crowd you will proudly say,


That’s my baby!!!
