Today you left the world
At just nine years old
We need you back
You need to experience what life
Is all about
You need to go to high school
You need to drive a car
You need your first kiss,
Your first love,
Your first boyfriend
The world needs you
To experience these joys in life
You were too young
You barely knew the world
You are a miraculous person
You feared nothing
We need more people like you
More caring, hopeful people
In this place we call the world
You never touched the sky
You never learned to fly
But now you have your wings
Because you have become an angel
Flying through the gates of heaven
We shall all see you one day
When you teach us how to fly
We love you, we miss you
and one day we shall be together again.
