You’re the one that I see
When I drift off into dreaming
I imagine me and you
You take my hand and show me the way
To somewhere new
The place where my life begins
But why is everything so confusing
Or am I just out of my mind
I’m just trying to figure out
If the person that I am with you
Is the person I am inside
Or just the person I’m meant to be
Everything changes when I’m around you
It is like an emotional rollercoaster
That is never ending, always turning
Every which way off into the existence
You lead me to a double path road
One way is labeled future
And the other is past
You’re everything that I want
Were meant and supposed to be
I can’t let you fade away
So the only way I can achieve my happy ending
Is to follow you into the future
And see how life plays out
Not knowing the results
But I believe you are worth the risk
So I take your hand
And here is when we take the path
To my new life.
