Earth Cry

A look and behold
What I have done
I’ve built a machine
That will challenge, even the sun.
The machine lay dormant…as we looked, carefully through the door,
And eight brass spheres lay upon the floor.
A hundred or so cables connected each sphere
And remember these were large brass globes
it'll all become clear.

A mass of screens suddenly lit up and shone
With data pouring in, and from.
LOOK, the spheres started to rise
And right in front of our very eyes
The room shook and started to spin
And then in spite of everything
A shout from the back about “ill see you in court
Then the room stopped
The spheres fell back to the floor.
Get out of my way
Quick open the door
And a few of us were pushed down onto the floor…

We then stood outside
And sea a coastal view
But the sky was no longer colored in blue.
And purple sea lapped up the shore
I don’t think we were standing on Earth no more.
A giant bird like I’d never seen
Flew about and within this scene
Scared the folk that had just been
Sharing in each others terrible dream.

We got back inside this living space
And one of the others covered his face.
Take us back to where we come
And a promise of, to tell no one.
The spheres again an engine make
And traveled us back from our mistake
We will much as, and try to preserve
All the wonders of our Earth.
