I can not believe it has been nearly a year
I try not to think about it, but then I cry a tear
I look back on the memories, the good and the bad
No matter what they are, they all make me sad
I lay here and think of all the things we never did
And then I think, you will never have a wife or kids
You were so young, I can not believe it had to end this way
But still to this day I think of you and I pray
You will never get to drive your first car
Or lay outside and look at the stars
You will never get into another fight
Or be able to give someone another kiss goodnight
It is not the same without you here
Even though we know you are always near
We will never be apart
Because you will always be in my heart
And this is the way it will be forever
Or atleast until we are back together
