The Room

In pale lime green walls,
With a butterfly trim,
A little girl sleeps soundly,
After a hard day's play.
Her mother quietly opens her door,
Which had been attacked with barbie stickers.
She sees her child resting,
And walks over to her bed.
She sits down in the cozy rocking chair thats been there forever.
The mother looks around the room,
At all her childs things.
Theres her favorite berenstain bears books,
Her Elmo kite,
And upon her dresser, tomorrows outfit.
But what would anyn little girl be without her stuffed animal collection.
A fuzzy pink bear,
A purple stripped tiger,
A blue elephant,
And too many more to name.
She lets out a silent chuckle at all the cute little things inside the
room,
Then kisses the little girl on the forehead,
And walk out of the room.
