They took her away

I had a friend
We used to play
She told me a secret
That I was not to say
As the days passed by
It had gotten worse
And out of my mouth
I had to burst
Her father hits her
So they took her away
That little ol' secrect I had to say
Now she writes me in the mail
And for her father he went to jail
We made a deal to always say
A secret that might cost us
Our lives one day
