I Won't Forget

An empty spot
In an empty space
A falling tear
Down a mother's face
And though a child
Has sprouted wings
Evil shall
Preside as king
Human will
Creates our sorrows
Just a memory
Left tomarrow
No one dares
To take her place
A fallin child
Betrayed by fate
Her winding road
Down life's short journey
Lead to something
Not deserving
Broken medal
Shattered glass
Skid marks on
A country pass
No one shares
Her last sweet memory
All her soul
Is now but empty
No more pain
She's left to feel
On the outside
Thoughts unreal
Starring at
An angel's coffin
Tearful night
Not soon forgotten
Flowers on a
Child's grave
Mom and Dad
Submit to rage
What do you tell
A mother's groom
Her life but ended
All too soon
This day we all
Learn to regret
Tell them that
You won't forget.
