We're not here to judge you
Merely to observe
The story behind that gorgeous hue
and society conserve
We stand here proudly side by side
And take your pain and fears in stride.

We're not here to condemn him
Only to understand
Why the need for him to sin
got so completely out of hand
It's as if the darkness of hell
Is leaking out of it's constraining shell.

We're not here to demean her
Just to see what she has to say
It's coincidentally just a share
Of what at the end we all must pay
And tearing screams rent the sky
We dry our eyes and eat the lie.

We're not here to ignore them
and disguise the tortures they've faced
Never be mistaken, life is not a gem
We don't care about you, him or her
It's all a game I tell you
Whether or not you wish to be there.

We're just here to protect the peace.
Democracy and all that's free.
We're only here to keep us safe.
We're only ever here for me.
