So tired of stupidity
Tired of being let down
My biggest mistake was
Thinking my luck had turned around

I thought I'd found someone
Who wouldn't treat me this way
Apparently I was wrong
As proven yesterday

I don't know what I did wrong
But of course I am to blame
I am innocent I know
But still, I hold my head in shame

Shamed for thinking there was one
At least one decent guy
And yet again, I found out
What I had thought was a lie
