You are my baby angel,
A fighter through it all,
I've watched your little fingers,
And you've sucked your tiny toes.

I sung a soft lullaby,
And turned your night light on.
When your lonely cries broke the silent night,
I'd rock you softly to quash your fright.

You have so many teddies,
To watch you while you sleep.
I'd shake my keys before your eyes,
Just to make you giggle and smile.

You are my baby angel,
Now you've answered heavens call.
They gave you lovely wings all of your own,
To fly above and watch over us all.
