Lost Love

Anger, Frustration, Resentment and Rage,
All plays a part in my emotions today.

The reasons for such thoughts are deep within,
But like most it comes from mistakes and sins.

For I have made a mistake one costly and dear,
For that I lost my love, and now I fear.

I gave up happiness and equanimity,
Love, joy, friendship and purity.

I can’t even give a reason why,
I let love go, its enough without any lies.

If wishes were possible I would want to learn,
Just to turn back time have my love return.

You must know her heart and soul were untainted,
She was as beautiful as the sunrise that Monet Painted.

Her voice was calmness and comfort to hear,
I close my eyes tight wishing she would appear.

But it’s to late now for any second chance,
Now I must settle for that passing glance.

I have let her slip from my fingers lost is my soul,
Never again to walk this life as one as whole.
