Of distant worlds
We are, You and I,
Your sun rises
While my moon hides,
Never to meet
Or to touch,
Yet knowing of each other,
The intimacies we experience
Through poetic words of desire
that only lovers share,
Brought together in song
Connected by music
That sweetly, soulfully,
Passionately plays,
Bringing whispers from a far
and longings to be near,
Of days and nights
that toss and turn,
Of hearts and bodies that
Do so yearn,
To be lost in an embrace
To feel the friction
Of skin upon skin
To be engulfed within a kiss,
My moon comes to you now
Like the glow of a lover’s eyes
Full of want,
Your sun kisses my body
And holds me within a flame,
Never shall we meet
Yet always knowing of each other
