Sing to Me a Lullaby

Purple wings and Butterflies
Sing to me a lullaby
of grasses green and so pure
of a moon that shines and never stirs
I see a star shining bright
Grab it with my hand and hold on tight

Purple wings and Butterflies
Sing to me a lullaby
The wind it whispers in my ear
things I thought I'd never hear
The brook is babbling oh so near
want to drink from it, if I dare
The flowers hear illuminate the night
Maybe things will turn out alright

Purple wings and Butterflies
Sing to me a lullaby
Sing to me this song so sweet
I want to feel your body heat
Want to feel you oh so near
have you whisper in my ear
"I'll never leave you, I'll always be here"
And with those words I kiss your lips
as the wind begins to whip

Purple wings and Butterflies
Sing to me a lullaby
I woke from a dream that felt so pure
was it real? I cannot be sure
I touch my lips and feel the warmth
my heart ignites like a torch

Oh Purple wings and Butterflies
Sing to me a lullaby
I want to hear my lullaby.
