I'm going to take this pain and harvest it into something real,
All this blood and all these tears and you'll see I'm real,
Does it hurt you to see my wrist?
And how did I loose you in all this mist?
Blinded by the pain and I can't see,
My life slowly slipping in front of me,
I used to be good, I used to be the best,
I could hold my head high above the rest,
Now part of me is dead and I don't know why,
To go on living like this would be a lie,
I promise when I leave I'll never look back,
Push me today, tempt me tomorrow, and I'll start to pack,
I have so much hurt caused by you,
Leaving now would be a sensible thing to do,
I'm not saying I hate you, don't think that,
How can I let you walk all over me like a welcome mat?
I'm sorry if I hurt you I never meant to,
But going away is something I must do.
