Another broken heart
Another lust she had to feed.
I can’t help but just lie awake,
And wonder how this girl could be related to me.

It’s just like the deference
Between codependent and sociopath,
Between heart breaker and healer,
I wonder why she took that path.
This one was different, he was nice,
He didn’t ignore me or shelter me.

I sit under this poet’s moon and wonder,
How could such a heartless being be?
How could she be my sister?

He was gorgeous and kind, but that’s never enough
My sister isn’t a gentle girl,
She wants her men to treat her rough.
I don’t know why, maybe I’ll never know.
