The way you stare at me
In the morning light
With those pierceing eyes

It makes me feel so strange
At first Im flattered
And eventually shy away

But then the intensity scares me
It unnerves me somehow
The silence and your undeterred glare

I've never seen someone
Look at me in such a way
But is that why it makes me feel uneasy?

Or is it because for the first time
I have no idea what is running through your mind
Is this trance good or bad?

The faint smile on your face
Makes me think that its with happiness
But past experience makes me think otherwise

You tell me all the things
I never thought I'd hear
Said while looking me in the eye

I know you would never lie
But I just cant accept the fact that
Someone like you, would want someone like me
