Imaginary City

In my mind, my imaginary city
There’s no such thing as sorrow
I know it’s pathetic but I can’t stop dreaming
Everywhere I go it follows
Streets are paved with hope and passion
Buildings crumble at every touch of affection
People daily kiss the embodiment of perfection

In my mind, my imaginary city
There’s no such thing as hatred
It all comes down to happiness and friendship
And those who honestly waited
To walk those streets paved with hope and passion
To rebuild the rubble into buildings of affection
To daily kiss the embodiment of perfection

I’ve lost my mind, my imaginary city
The streets are littered with shards of mistakes
My buildings turned into black magic markets
My people rape the embodiment of heartbreak
Where’s my mind, my imaginary city...?
