A better day

There is an undisturbed silence
That lingers in the air
Lost fears, hopes, and memories
Of you running your fingers threw my hair
I think about all the good times
That my friends and I used to share
I remember having not one worry
I remember how I used to care
I had good friends
And I was happy
I always had someone I could count on
I had everything going for me
And now its all so different
Everything was thrown away
So I sit all by myself
As I pray for a better day
A day where I can truly smile
And need not someone to wipe away my tears
A day filled with laughter
And not one tiny little fear
