Goodbye
So long captain
These are the last words of your first mate
There is no more room to hold untold memories
lying awake alone with tired eyes
on a ship finally realizing we all have a flaw
no law or element can keep us from forgiveness
let this letter cross your mind twice
the second time is better than the first
no luck getting back on to my feet again
no improvement to my confidence
At the lowest low you have nothing to lose
If you believe that your a gullible bastard
You cant right any wrongs
What is done is done
Accept it and look on the bright side
You will always have this rusty ship
The sea will always be a perfect get away
There will always be other first mates
Thank you for that mirror that frames the end
Of my pathetic reflection
So before the wind plots against me
Ill stop reflecting
The fire that will soon consume this vessel
will burn the prints from my hands
a tragic site washes ashore
my fingertips will keep this story a mystery
