I’m sure you know,
That I stare at you
While you are driving.
The best view
Is from afar,
At times.
...With the top down.
When the wind blows your hair in every direction,
And you have to keep your eyes on the road.
...Your eyes are always so focused
when you are driving...
I could stay forever
in those chocolate brown eyes of yours,
Watching those dark moons,
with their many craters
and still undiscovered mysteries...
I could search them forever
only to find things
I already knew about you all along.
And your lips...
So much poutier than my lips.
So soft they are,
when they touch mine...
Your features are so perfect at times,
And yet you are unaware of this fact.
It is as if you were chiseled out of marble,
With such a strikingly perfect form,
But yet you are not,
Because nothing made of marble,
Could be as soft and kind as you are to me.
Your arms...
I love to tackle you,
Just so they wrap around me...
I’m so safe,
Warm,
Cared for,
In those arms.
You will never know,
How much it means to me
That you hold me so.
You always exhale when you hold me
As if it’s a relief to embrace me...
As if you have been waiting for this moment all day.
Just as I have.
Everything about you,
Leaves me in awe;
Transfixed.
I like to watch you,
Just for this reason.
...there is so much more behind you,
that can only be translated by watching.
So,
I’m sure you know,
That I stare at you.
