I've been a star...
Now I've been scarred.

Beaten, ignored, and thrown away...
But still I live to see another day.

There's all this damage you can't see…
It's all the damage I let him do to me.

From his lips to my ears I heard
"Don't ever change... Stay eternally wild."
Then he raped me inside, turned me into a child.

When I can't close my eyes without seeing him…
How can you touch me and not feel him?!?

He knew once broken, I could never be the same…
Even put back together, you can still see the shame.

In the beginning, never knowing it all…
In the end, still never dreaming how far "Love" could make you fall.
