Sometimes the nights mist falls so perfectly
No words can form the meaning
And with every shooting star there is a broken heart
As the moments pass I grow more desperate
I can't find the cause of my misfortune
You stole my heart
And replaced it with barbed wire fence
And the rusted ends of the metal severed my chest
I feel alone here
The phone forgets to ring
Even if it remembered I doubt it would be for me
The sky is so lonely when the stars aren't there
So I will grab my umbrella and run outside
No rain is going to stop me from trying
I hope I make it this time
I willl never compromise what I believe
There is no point in watching a sunset
If we can't watch it rise again
So this could be my last chance
I'm running out of finger to count my regrets
So ill climb the tallest tree
And hang from the strongest branch
To dangle in the twilight I'll end my life
Could this be that moment I'l lived up for?
I need answers but I guess thats why we live life
It's a constant search for what is right
Whats left of our situation suffocated our dream
This rope promises a better place for me
No more lonely winter nights
I'll remember the numbness of every line
And as you sing the melodies of what I once was
My body will drip out it's last bit of blood
It might not be right but I made it this time
