Cliche, cliche
And bluntly put
Your first kiss
Was also your last.

Silly girl, your wish
Is void as can be
Your naive hopes
Are utterly laughable.

Your tears are those
That crocodiles cry
Your dreams as true
As desert mirages.

Silly, stupid, young girl.
Your heart isn't broken
For only the aged
Can feel true love.

We have no reason
To argue over
The matter of what
You think you "felt".

Good self, you seem sure
That what's inside
Is undeniably "love"
As it seems to be.

But I'm only a girl,
Stupid, young, silly...
So bluntly put:
I must be wrong.
