You’re on a different side of the United States
With different trees
It’s a whole different world
With different stories

You’re in a different city
With different mountains
With different sounds
And time square fountains

Your lights are out
My lights are on
I see the stars
You see the sun
Don’t mean to brag
But you meant the most
There’s just too much
In the middle of our coasts

You’re a special girl
One the opposite side
We talk on the phone
Yet I can’t see your eyes
