Forever is a chance to know,
A place to spread and grow-
Where dreams last eternity,
And imagination can run free.

Childhood, will never last
Bills and money spend it fast
Until kids pine for forever.

Mothers worry about tax collectors,
Doctors, lawyers and the car,
They push away their want of forever
Knowing, in this world, that forever never comes.

A sad world, with tired eyes-
Holding on to each other’s lies.
Forever is only a breath away.
People never see forever today.

All ways too tired, too busy;
Rushing to make ends meet,
Never stopping for that brief moment-
Miss the forever of the day.

As children become just like their parents,
Suddenly the ground is vacant.
No more laughing, or make believe
They’ve come to chase the same old dream.

Make it rich, then rest awhile
Throw the worries in another file
Sit and bask in other’s happiness

Children grow, parents age,
Animals come then fade away.
Much too tired, to waste another day.

Lay down, in the soft, warm dirt,
Make the coffin your new home.
Rest your weary bones-
And may every worry be severed

In the glow of forever.
