Better Than The Junk

Your veins are young yet frail
Your eyes are swollen and dark
Cut yourself and jump right on in
You like swimming with the sharks
You gave me everything that I need to hold on
Can't stand the thought of waking up
And learning that you're gone
I'll keep my voice down, I know you don't like shouts
I'll whisper as loud as I can so you get what it's about
I'll try not to cry
I'm sure you won't like the pressure
The you inside could breathe
If you would just let her
Stop suffocating yourself in your masked suicide
Stop choking on your logic everytime I ask you why
You're better than the junkies and you're better than the junk
You're better than what these losers got stashed inside their trunk
I'd be nothing without you and now you're withering away
I don't know why you can't see whats so plain on your face
For better or worse, you're worth all the pain
I wish I could live it for you, it's driving me insane
I want to hold you knowing it's nowhere near
I'll keep the streets safe, I'll keep the paths clear
