"Your Love"

Love is something wonderful

And it should be given for free

But for your love, I did it all

And you continued to mistreat me

You were the person I respected

The person I wanted in my life

But just like everything else in this world,

Your love came with a price

It cost me almost everything

I nearly gave it all for you

Only to make you happy

And fix what we were going through

Being around you made me happy

Your love, I thought made me strong

I did what I could to protect you

Although sometimes it was wrong

I sacrificed my happiness

So you'll always love me

But with your love came heartache

And with heartache came misery

The misery had crippled me

And started to control my fate

Your love that I worked so hard for

Has turned my love into hate!

*for Lance and Miles. Thanx for everything. It didn't break me. It made
me stronger.
