Three years

Three years it's been
and nothing has changed,
three years it's been,
and nothing remains.

I thought I'd found you,
it didn't feel wrong,
I thought I'd have you,
for once and for all.

My body was yours,
and my heart was your slave,
you tore it to pieces,
you messed with my brain.

The pain that I felt,
that you inflicted on me,
all the lies that you said,
turned into my reality.

Three years it's been
So much has gone wrong
Three years it's been,
and still, we're both alone.

Ignoring me was your strategy,
you became my enemy,
and still, I was too ignorant to see
you weren't giving a shit about me.
