A hand on my sleeve, you wouldn't believe
The electricity I felt flowing through me
It's like ecstacy, and the come down is your town
Pullin in your driveway and letting you out
You don't know what it's like
Living life in your path
It's like a bad car crash
That you live through with a laugh
And heave a big sigh, walkin off to get high
Nothing can bring you down when you're with a girl this fly
Watch her walk, hear her talk, she's walkin toawrds me
You wouldn't believe the electricity
I felt beneath my feet
From the floor that she struts
So I flick my newport butt
Out of respect for this goddess that has a hold of me
Gotta give it to the gil with natural beauty
She's got nothing to say, just a head on my shoulder
This is how it'll be when we're 30 years older

This is what it's like to be torn in half
My best friend, my hero, the reason I can laugh
This is what it is when you're more sure than you know
This is the time there is no option of let go
