The Nights When Days Are Bright

the moon
suffers
on his behalf
trembles
in vast darkness,
as he struggles
to find the light
enshrouded amid
stardust scatters
and earthly matters..

distinguished dreams disguised,
camouflaged behind clouds of secrets
and shadows
of his afflictions
grieve to my songs
a knight
sent to save my nights

his beauty
mocks daylight
in soft whispers of
unspoken treasures
in invisible measures
his existence
revels in obscurity
his reflection,
so gorgeously
painful..

and i
miss the nights
when days are bright

the sun continues
to shamefully burn
and brighten glorious days
those triumphant
only in memories..
