Meet you as a stranger,
Took you as a friend,
Now your leavin her without one thought of amends.
Your heart turned black like mine is too,
We don't like the same music,
But now each others true.
Our friendship started to wilt,
and turn into something new.
But I knew how she felt and was afraid to love you.
We tried to stay friends,
But our love would never end.
When you asked me about love, I told you it didn't work.
You asked me why, I told you he broke my heart.
We told each other, we loved one another.
and I knew you really meant it too.
I knew I loved you but was afraid I could never trust.
My heart started to bend,
Because I was loosing a friend.
I was loosing you to my heart, but was afraid I couldn't do my part,
Then i told you that a friend was all you were and I would still love you.
I could tell you didn't want that,
And you wanted to be more.
But you said you would wait and be there when I wanted to be adored.
You became my friend again and, you I will always adore, forevermore.
Because your the one who helped me love once more..
