Her night gown flows freely between her legs
as she perches the cold railing
the water waiting for another heart to swallow, silently begs

Painful memories flash violently before her eyes
she slowly lets go and spreads her arms
skimming the water below, she unwillingly cries

She whispers a prayer and wipes her tears
taking a dive into an endless black sky
embracing freedom and letting go of fears
