And the Angels Weep...

I let time stop for a moment,
As I watch it all fall before me.
No control over the flames,
Over the cries,
The primitive acts of fear...
As I watched the wind,
Make the untamed grass sway,
The clouds drift to an unknown land.
...A land in which I shall never see.
Oh,
How far we have fallen...
As I let my hands lightly tough the sunbeams,
Falling gracefully onto the scene lain out before me.
The smoke;
Suffocating the last breaths of our true mother,
Intertwining with the clouds of heaven,
Parted,
So all who have lost hope,
Simply give in,
So they can find out,
If the angels weep for us all.
