She’s barely breathing.
Her final moments
Are spent bleeding.

Laying alone,
The night so cold.
She never expected it
To end so soon.

Remembering the time
She laughed out loud.
Everyone staring,
She was glowing.

Laying on the ground
Her demise is forthcoming.
Fighting for time,
Her life starts to fade.


One last breath
Her memory starts faltering.
Desperate to keep his memory alive,
She wills her heart to keep
Beating….

Dressed in white
Her hair pure as silk…
She knows this is where
She’s destined to be.
Love is in the eye of the beholder.
And the beholder is still alive.
