I miss him
More then he would know
Or even believe
He thinks that all I do is deceive

That's one of the reasons that he is gone
But I was never good at moving along
I miss the things he used to say
And no matter how shitty things were
With him, everything always seemed okay

And no matter how foolish I appeared
He evaporated my inner fears
But that person is gone now
And same with that part of my life
It's time to forget, so just hand me the pipe

It's time to forget if you can't move on
Let's replace one with the other
Because it's hard to find another
But times are changing just like they always do
And people are fading
It's time for someone or something new

I may not want this, but it's not up to me
I'm sure I'll move on in time
I always end up being fine
I might miss him but that's okay
Everything will heal in time
So let's just forget and never hit rewind
