Without You

It’s funny when you find yourself
Looking from the outside in.
Laughing at the jokes we made,
But not with me, with him.
Fighting like we used to fight
And playing like we played.
Looking back, it used to be me with you,
But that was yesterday.
I knew this would happen when he came back.
I knew I would disappear.
Being shut out of your life for him,
Was my greatest fear.
I watched as he lived my life with you.
Bonnie and Clyde it seemed.
While you were laughing out loud with him,
Inside myself I screamed.
So now I’m back in this position again,
Not knowing what to do.
Here I am watching you and your lover,
And hurting without you.
