And then theres you

Broken beauty
tirades for her scarred hands
her eyes they whisper
hold life in the palm of her hand
golden strands
strangle her ivory shoulders
stained lips
that could melt indecision away
"and then theres you"
bringing life to her broken eyes
beauty to her weary soul
waking in the shadows
what no one sees in the light
twisted and defamed is her heart
you still the raging waters
yet no one sees
beneath her radiance
in the love of your safe arms
with your simple ways
your breath awakens what all see...
only you keep her alive
