Manipulation
She got that from you
Confrontation
yeah that too

She awoke
to hear the same old words
They spoke
But none of them were hers

Tries so hard to be guarded
And no one can see
Fears being discarded
No one hears her plea

You told her
it wasn't all that bad
But you showed her
what it means to be sad

She sits waiting
thinking, debating
Hope everything won't fall apart

Every thing's changing
Look now she's fading
we all used to be so smart

She sits and she wonders
She prays for the thunder
She prays for the silence to end

No one can see her
no one wants to be her
No hope to show or defend

You could have stayed a little longer
