Let's try to get through this rhyme without a sign of crying
This mountains gettin steep and I'm tired of climbing
The roads are getting narrow so I want to turn around
The baggage is gettin heavy, draggin me to the ground
Theres this growing pressure in my temple, I'm getting sick of this
I've benched a few in my day, but this weight is ridiculous
I've wiped a lot of tears and have thrown not one away
I keep them locked up and pour them out with what i say
I'm running with caution, scissors open in my hands
I'll tell you where I'm going when I figure out where I stand
I live in yesteryear, so today has no place for me
I'll dig out of this time capsule when im convinced this lifes safe for me
Try to wipe my slate clean, youll see her love stain in it
This is reality, she's in my heart and she'll remain in it.
Let's remind myself to get through this rhyme without crying
Take a breath, take a hit, help me feel like I'm flying
I'm stone cold sober and I'm sick to the bare bone
I'm stuck in this rut, with the aches I shake alone
The walls are screaming at me to run as fast as possible
I have no destination because I thought we were unstoppable
And the green turns to grey and the crystals die away
Straining for that one last hit to put an end to this day
And the songs get played but they never get played out
Running isn't working when I run on the same route
