And I'd die again

torn in polar directions
staring blankly at my transparent heart
dying slowly within my mind
dreams fade and hope crashes
I have lost myself in your crimson tears
drowning
helplessly I fall
black stars hang heavily in your eyes
and enchanting dreams twist into unrelentless nightmares
I'd die again just to save you
broken winged and helpless
I look up from my knees to gaze at the god
of my jaded aspirations
If I could die in your eyes I know that I would be safe
I know I could live eternally in your memory
never letting me slip
you'd hold me forever
running backwards through the draining hour glass
we'd fall into each other
only to meet again
at the rusted gates of eternity's end
smiling at one another
all the lies and infidelities
drift away
and its just you and me
two bodies one soul
together forever the way it was always meant to be
