Just a little mustang

Just a little mustang,
I made my owner proud.
I gladly carried her through
the shadows of the cloud.

Just a liitle mustang,
I will try as I might.
I hope she'll be delivered
to the glory of the light.

I pray she will forget
that sad and gloomy day.
The last time she ever heard
my soft and loving neigh.

As I wait for her to enter
through those tall and pearly gates,
I remember how we had our
agreements and all of our debates.

I remember when she told me
how important I was to her.
And when I took my last breath
she told me she'd always love me
even after my fast and painless death.
