There, I almost fell in that expanse
You were there in a sea of faces waving
Too many fish, while on the beach I dance
Pretending I'm not misbehaving

Tried to ignore you but you wouldn't have it
Making yourself the only one in my eyes
You said you were special and different
But I found you're a glass box present, no surprise

It makes me want to dive in the sea
Ride the wave with all you under me
Bodysurf on your souls under me
You know your place - under me

Where is someone who will spark this dream
Without trying to devour me
Where is someone that can kiss my spirit
And wake it from it's coma sleep?

I really do want to believe
But you all need to stay under me
Keep you at arms length under me
Swim in dirty seafoam with you under me

Don't pull at my toes or tug on my arms
Let me swim away from the cold deep harm
Don't pull me under, I can't breathe
Just stay under me
